2. Document Review

3. On-Site Inspection

A trained UgoCert inspector visits your operation to verify compliance through thorough assessment.

4. Technical Evaluation

Our certification committee evaluates inspection findings and makes an impartial certification decision.

5. Certification

Upon approval, you receive your organic certificate, valid for one year with annual renewal required.

Your operation must meet organic standards; No prohibited inputs for 3 years, Physical separation from conventional, Buffer zones established, Staff trained on organic practices, Internal control system (for groups)

Be prepared for each certification phase; 2-4 weeks: Application review, 1 day: On-site inspection, 2-4 weeks: Evaluation period, Annual: Renewal process, Ongoing: Record keeping
